Easter signifies hope, and for many of our street friends, it means they've survived another harsh Canadian winter. When we invite them, we pull out all the stops, offering turkey and all the trimmings a typical turkey meal offers. This special occasion provides not only a wonderful dinner but also lots of time to connect and exchange stories with each other and with our volunteers, who love nothing more than sharing the love of Jesus in word and deed with those who attend. 

This special meal also provides lots of time to connect and exchange stories with each other and with our volunteers, and with the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus on many people's minds, including our street friends, OIM staff and volunteers have opportunities to share their hope in Jesus. We also love to hear from our friends how thankful they are to God for the provision of warmth and good food.
