In less than a week, on Wednesday August 28th, OIM will be celebrating the Innercity Arts program at a special fundraising event, featuring a silent art auction and performances from youth in the program. Last year’s auction event was a huge success as many OIM supporters came together to bid on artwork and enjoy one another’s company. This support was deeply felt amongst the youth as they experienced the pride of working to create something of beauty and personal expression, and the satisfaction harvesting the rewards of their efforts.
This year we hope to achieve this same success (and financial reward) for the youth in our program, and for OIM as a whole, as we strive to support all of the valuable ministries that OIM provides. Just as last year, the event is being hosted by the beautiful Ottawa Art Gallery on 10 Daly Ave. One of the things that make this year’s event special is a three-course meal catered by Chef Ric’s!
Please consider purchasing a ticket today! We understand that the ticket price may seem a substantial ask; bear in mind you will receive an amazing meal while supporting all OIM’s ministries. Having said that, we don’t want the cost to keep you away or from getting in on the bidding action. Please reach out if you are concerned about the cost.
